Arkema Group is a global specialty chemicals provider employing 19,800 people and operating in nearly 55 countries.  The Company is organized under three business segments – High Performance Materials, Industrial Specialties and Coating Solutions.  The Arkema plant in North Kansas City, Missouri was built in 2002 and employs 26 people.  The site produces a polyester resin used for powder coatings, which go into metal finishes for lawn furniture, toolboxes, light fixtures, parking meters, fences, railings and many other applications.
