Northland Coffee Connect is taking a trip beyond North Kansas City to the Northland Innovation Center, where coordinator Cammy Neth will introduce us to the Future Ready Lab. This cutting-edge facility, which opened this school year, provides STEAM-focused learning experiences for all fifth-grade students in the North Kansas City School District—spanning 83 classes across 22 elementary schools.
The Future Ready Lab is equipped with a diverse range of tools and technology, allowing students to explore over 50 career pathways, including animatronics, machining, costume design, scriptwriting, and more.
