We are optimistic that the Chiefs will bring home the Lombardi Trophy for a third consecutive year—should that happen, there’s a strong chance the championship parade will take place on this date (but we do not know that for certain). Rather than risk a last-minute cancellation or postponement of our regularly scheduled coffee gathering, we’ve decided to take a break this week. And if the Chiefs don’t win? We’ll still love our team—and we can use the time to reflect on their incredible achievement of three Super Bowl victories in six years.
